Hidden Structures is a theme for artistic interpretations of those patterns, patterns and systems that remain unnoticed or even invisible in everyday life. We encourage artists to reveal the layers beneath the surface of social mechanisms, architecture, the invisible geometry of nature, the rhythm of the body and the algorithms of the digital world and the apparent chaos of the modern world.

The aim is to explore how the world is organized, to look beneath the surface and delve into the invisible connections and forms that surround us. What are we made of? Is nature chaotic or structured and what is the role of man in it? Are there disappearing forms that we want to preserve as part of the legacy we leave behind? How are man-made forms integrated into the perfect structure of nature?

We explore what is eternal and what is transient through the prism of digital art, depicted on the emblematic building of the Sports Hall in Gabrovo, the work of arch. Karl Kandulkov. He himself is an example of the legacy we leave behind – he designed the most beautiful buildings in the city, which become part of the Portal Festival program.
